Procedure

Add water to main vessel and start mixing at low to med speed. Add Miracare SLB-365/N and mix until uniform. In a separate vessel, add BHT to rice bran oil and mix until BHT is dissolved. Once dissolved, add Jaguar C-17 and mix until fully dispersed. Add oil premix to the main batch with increased mixing speed, ~250 rpm, and mix until uniform. Reduce mixing speed to ~150 rpm for the remainder of the batch. Adjust pH with 50% citric acid to pH 5.0-5.5. Add sodium chloride and mix for 30 minutes or until uniform. Add preservative, fragrance, etc. and mix until uniform.

Properties

Appearance—White, viscous, creamy liquid; pH @ 25°C—5.0-6.0; Viscosity, cps @ 25°C—10000-15000 cps; Storage-Stability—Stable for 3 months (25°C ; 45°C ; 4°C) 3 cycles of Freeze/Thaw.
